OKLAHOMA Wins College World Series in Softball

What a great season for NCAA women's softball!!!!  Oklahoma wins their second title in school history.  Their win over Tennessee tonight closed out a great season.  Showing the support for a state that has been plagued with tornado's over the last month.  Proving they are stronger than mother nature...

Congrats Oklahoma!!!!  But I still love my FLORIDA GATORS...

UPDATE to OLYMPIC BID...Just out

Baseball and Softball have join forces for a bid to return to the Olympics.  What a great opportunity for both sports to get back into the field of competition.  Knowing that these 2 sports are very popular throughout the world can only help the Olympic games as a whole.

Please Help--Olympic Bid

Here is a link below to an article talking about getting baseball/softball back into the Olympics.  They never should of been removed to begin with.  Reason they were removed is because the USA dominated the sport, so why have diving or gymnastics included?  I know, because at any time, anyone can prevail victorious.

Please read and find your own way of helping these sports get back in the Olympics where they belong.

The Journey has begun...

Understanding that it takes will and hard work to succeed in todays market place, the same has to do with playing sports at the next level. For our girls, the journey started when they decided to be more than we asked. They have broadened their horizons by taking part in this game we call, softball. Not just softball, but fastpitch softball. This will open up opportunities that girls before them have paved and with the knowledge and help from coaches and parents like US, we can all look for a better future for these girls. As their hitting instructor always says, "You hit like a girl, and thats a good thing."

Red Raiders 98 Showcase video

Central Florida Red Raiders Fastpitch is a youth sports organization that specializes in training girls, ages 8-18, the fundamentals of fastpitch softball. With the training being both physical and mental, it allows for the players to reach their maximum potential as athletes. Being an organization committed to training any girl who wants to play softball, Red Raider’s accepts all levels of athletes from beginner to elite.

This page is to help showcase the talents of our players to high school and college coaches, as well as professional scouts. The information on this site is to help with the recruiting process of our FUTURE athlete and scholars.  In doing so, will allow for assistance in the recruiting process which gives a better opportunity for our players to excel at the next level if they so chose.  Showcasing their athletic talents are not just the areas we chose to nurture.  We expect all our players to achieve maximum potential in school as well.  Having a great academic background is just as important as an athletic one.  This increases their chances at succeeding in all avenues of education and creates a strong well-minded young lady ready to take on any obstacle in her path.  As an organization, our goal is to help assist them with this opportunity and very excited with the outcome so far.  WE are excited for the future, not only by their athletic skill, but also for their fun nature and maturity as young ladies.
Here is a video of the girls giving their name, number, and positions.  Quite funny video of them just being girls and having fun at a tournament.
